BOOST Creative Solutions was born in 2006 when Niqui Cloete-Barrass decided that mixing business with pleasure was a great idea! As an MC, cabaret performer, comedienne, voice artist and motivational speaker, Niqui began to offer her services under the BOOST banner. And clients began to rave!

Since then, BOOST has grown into one of PE’s premier entertainment providers, and a source of professional MCs, voice artists, motivational speakers and video actors.

Corporate Entertainment

Boost Creative Solutions offers tailor-made entertainment solutions for your staff functions, client events, award ceremonies, and product launches.

When your company plans a corporate function, it’s more than just fun for fun’s sake – there is always a purpose for the event. Our slogan is “Mixing Business with Pleasure” – we believe in consulting with you to streamline the entertainment as a part of your strategy.

As performers we’ll tailor our songs and acts to complement your agenda for the event. Our background musicians range from smooth jazz to more funky and modern mood music. Our cabaret and dance acts cover a vast spectrum of genres. We’re particularly fond of theme parties! (Ask us about our famous parody songs – popular songs with the lyrics altered to boost your brand or flatter your clients and/or staff).

As professional MCs, we’ll drive home your message to the guests in an entertaining manner. We’ll brag about YOU when you can’t. We’ll introduce speakers, meal courses, and give away lucky draws in a fun and fair manner.

Voice Overs and Television

With over 10 years experience in the broadcasting arena, Niqui is a sought after voice artist for local and national brands. Her voice can be heard on some of Algoa FM’s and OFM’s commercials, many of which she has written.

Niqui voices corporate DVDs and adds to her client’s brand personality as the voice of their telephonic “on-hold” messages.

Her television experience includes the lead role in an Axxess DSL commercial and as the voice and face of a one-year Specsavers television campaign.

BOOST is proud to offer clients a multi-faceted and highly talented pool of performers. From background jazz and crooners, to high impact English and Afrikaans cabaret vocalists, pole ballerinas, dancers, and party bands, BOOST has the ideal entertainment solution to add fizz to any event.

The BOOST instant carnival crew is a firm favourite at local family days and events in and around PE. The crew includes stilt walkers, jugglers, fire dancers, fire eaters, glow dancers, African drummers, clowns, balloon artists, acrobatic breakdancers, a human table and a gypsy butterfly!

Niqui has over 15 years experience as a copy writer for radio, websites, brochures, articles and video productions. Her voice can be heard on leading national radio stations and television commercials, many of which she has written.

 Whether acting as performer or agent for other leading Port Elizabeth artists, Niqui is best known for her unique ability to tailor-make a comprehensive package of MC, entertainment and comedy for any specific function or event. She will oversee the smooth running of the event and give it the “BOOST” it needs to make an impression!
