Here’s more about “50 Shades of Eve … Reloaded”
Once again, the dream team of Marelize Barnard, Niqui Cloete-Barrass and Faye Gatley (with a sneak cameo appearance by Colin Lyall) will deliver vocal power punches, witty anecdotes and a fresh perspective on women, with spoof emphasis on the controversial movie, 50 SHADES OF GREY.
“If we’d produced the movie, things would have been a little different,” say the performers with cheeky grins. “She might have been the one holding the whip, for example!”
The show, while fraught with hilarity and the BOOST signature parody songs, also addresses topical issues of domestic abuse and female objectification.
The audience can look forward to a “fab” range of songs including golden oldies like Foster & Allen’s “Bunch of Thyme”, cheeky cabaret numbers like Caro Emerald’s “That Man” and “Cain’t Say No” (from the musical OKLAHOMA), as well as modern power anthems like “All About that Bass” (Meghan Trainor), “The Voice Within” (Christina Aquilera) and “You Don’t Own Me” (Lesley Gore).
